You will discover the history of tea while visiting the tea production museum. The factory produces a large variety of flavoured teas, green teas and herbal teas. After the factory tour, you will carry on and go to the Chalet, where you will discover and taste the teas. The next step is the Saint Aubin house and its Rhumerie. It was built in 1819 and it was home to several managers of the sugar estate. It is also where you will visit the Vanilla house and learn about the cultivation of the plant. You will visit the Rum house and this is where the fun begins! You will taste different kind of rums and sugar cane juice. It is definitely a well worth visit.
Gris Gris is an interesting natural sight when the waves crash against the shoreline with ferocious intensity. You can stand above the rugged cliffs and might even feel spray from below. The winds are often so high that any nearby trees grow with a bent angle. The wind and the waves- the perfect blend of these two make this place just awesome. The sound of the waves and the winds will stay in your sub conscious for long…
